Whether you are a large organization with hundreds of Drupal experts or a small team of 2 or 3 developers, it's important that your team knows the community, understands what tools they can use, which events they can attend... and why not? Contribute and give back to the community whatever is possible.
It's difficult to think about contributing and helping everyone on a day-to-day basis, but it should be our priority. It's also very challenging, especially when dealing with distributed and multicultural teams, for knowledge to flow, for solutions implemented in one project to be usable in another, and to have a common thread and a joint development strategy. In our day-to-day, it's also difficult to open ourselves up to implementing new and innovative solutions, to pause the machinery to improve.
The objective of this session is to share our experience in both private (NTT DATA) and public (European Commission) organizations in implementing a Community of Practice that provides the framework to contribute, foster talent, innovation, and best practices.
